Lime Shred Marmalade

Citrus marmalade with chilli (Heat rating 3/5) Tart and refreshing with a lovely heat. Great with savoury food as well as the classic 'on toast,' slather it on pancakes, or spoon onto bakery. It's nice to use instead of lime pickle alongside a curry because it's not as harsh and face-puckeringly wersh as pickle, making it the perfect way to balance spicy dishes without overpowering them....but I don't personally think you can beat it on hot brown toast with proper butter. Storage As with most preserves, once opened these will keep in the fridge for up to 6 weeks, or unopened until the best before date (usually at least 18 months from purchase date)
