{"product_id":"peru-velo-de-novia","title":"Peru Velo De Novia","description":"Sweet and complex with notes of brown sugar, blackcurrant, plum and subtle orange, this is an exceptional example of Peruvian coffee. Brew Method: Filter - pour over Coffee \/ Water: 16g \/ 250g Grind: Medium coarse (think breadcrumbs) Water temp: 96°C Total brew time: Around 3 minutes In 2024 we made the long trip to Jaén, a mountainous region in rural northern Peru. It’s here that Velo de Novia begins its journey – grown by 20 smallholder producers farming high up in the hills. We visited three of those farms – Elias, Víctor and Máximo. Each farm looked different, each farmer had their own way of working but one thing was clear: real care for the land and a quiet commitment to doing things well. Every choice was rooted in the realities of the local climate – how to work with it, protect it and adapt to the challenges it throws up like rising temperatures and long periods of drought. We travelled with Caravela Coffee, a sourcing partner who’s deeply embedded in the community here. Their PECA programme puts agronomists on the ground to work alongside producers – not to hand down rules but to share what’s working on other farms in the area. What we saw wasn’t top-down. It was collaborative, practical and grounded in respect.","brand":"Roastworks Coffee Co","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":43497981214810,"sku":null,"price":9.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0652\/2899\/6698\/files\/99d7c21c-1e7c-46d8-8106-97321137009d.png?v=1785754722","url":"https:\/\/www.delli.market\/products\/peru-velo-de-novia","provider":"DELLI","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
